Call for Papers are now open! Please follow the link below to submit your call for papers. Please note that this must be filled out in its entirety, any submissions that do not follow this format will not be accepted to speak at DerbyCon! Please note that if accepted as a speaker, you will receive an honorarium of $200 the day of the DerbyCon conference (when you check in).
We look forward to another awesome year and the INFOSEC community truly appreciates your submission to DerbyCon and the support. If there’s anything we can do to help or you have any questions, email us: info [at] derbycon [dot] com.
Four track submissions:
Break Me – The break me track is more centric around offensive type talks. This could be exploit research, offensive techniques, penetration testing, and other topics.
Fix Me – More focused on the blue team side of the house and more proactive and defensive security talks.
Teach Me – Teach me is geared towards teaching folks coming into INFOSEC or experiences you have had that could help the community.
Stable Talks (30 Minutes) – These are quick 30 minute talks and can be any topic.
Please note that DerbyCon receives a large volume of submissions. Due to this we cannot accept everyone. We hate that part the most. If you submit and do not get accepted we will respond back to how to better improve for next year. Our goal isn’t to reject anyone, we appreciate everyone’s time taken to submit, but unfortunately, we can’t accept everyone.
We keep the cost of the ticket sales down for the community, as such, travel expenses and hotels are not covered for speakers.
Who should submit? YOU!
Note: Call for papers ENDS on July 1st, 2013. SUBMIT BEFORE THEN!
